Sal began his career in the financial services industry in 1983 after earning a bachelor’s degree with majors in Finance and Economics. He immediately went on to earn the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and the ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designations to further enhance the value he brings to his clients. Sal earned the AIF® Designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies in 2013. The AIF® Designation certifies he has specialized knowledge of fiduciary standards of care and their application to the investment management process.
While education has been a cornerstone of his practice, there is no substitute for the "hands on" experience that he has gained throughout his career guiding business owners, families, and individuals in the development of their business and personal financial strategies.
Sal is a life-long resident of Wisconsin and has been married to his wife Sandy for over 30 years. Sal and Sandy are the very proud parents of three children...one of whom, Sal Jr., is the newest member of the Ferrito & O’Gorman Financial Group team. Sal Jr. joined the firm as an investment advisor in 2016.
